Privacy policy
Wordkiln is a word puzzle game. This page explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. There is no account or sign-in, and we don't sell your personal information.
Information that stays on your phone
Your level, coins, bonus words, daily check-in streak, the puzzle you are in the middle of and your settings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them. The word lists the game uses are built into the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Wordkiln is free and shows optional rewarded videos and occasional full-screen ads between levels through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers,
- approximate location derived from your IP address,
- information about how you interact with ads, and basic device and app information.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Wordkiln under Settings > Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings.

No analytics
The app does not include an analytics service, and this website does not use analytics or tracking cookies. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver the font file.
Video on this website
The trailer on the home page is hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; after that YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) may set cookies under Google's privacy policy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Wordkiln shows an evening reminder when you haven't collected your daily check-in. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and need no internet connection or server. You can turn them off in Settings or in Android's notification settings.
Links
"Rate Wordkiln" and "More apps from us" open Google Play. The privacy policy link opens this page in your browser.
Children
Wordkiln is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us below.
Data security and retention
Data sent to Google's advertising services travels over encrypted connections and is kept according to Google's policies. Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Your choices
- Change ad consent in Settings > Ad privacy choices (where offered).
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
- Turn off reminders in Settings.
- Delete all local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
