A word connect puzzle that opens straight to the puzzle
For word game players who want to play, not tap through pop-ups. Swipe letters on a potter's wheel to fill the crossword. Free, offline, no in-app purchases.
- Plays offline, no account
- Any real word counts as a bonus
- Fair hints, never used unless you ask
Try level 4: swipe or tap the letters
"I just want to find words"
Five screens before the first word. You open a word game and clear offers, card packs and events before you can play.
Every screen asks for money. Coins, boosters, bundles. The hints get pricier and the game keeps reminding you.
Real words marked wrong. You spell a word you know is a word and the game says no.
Wordkiln keeps the words and drops the rest
Swipe letters, fire words
Drag across the letters on the potter's wheel. Every word on the board glows into the crossword like a tile fresh from the kiln. Slide back to undo a letter.

Every real word counts
Spell a real word that isn't on the board and it's a bonus worth 2 coins. Over 50,000 words are accepted, so a valid word is never marked wrong.

Fair hints, nothing to buy
A hint shows one letter for 25 coins. The price is on the button and never goes up. There are no in-app purchases at all; coins come from playing.

A daily wheel and a calm dark mode
A new seven-letter wheel every day, a 7-day check-in ladder, and a soft kiln-dark theme for late nights. It all works offline.

Questions
Is Wordkiln free?
Yes. It's free to download and play, supported by ads. There is nothing to buy inside the app.
How many ads will I see?
Ads never appear in the middle of a level. A short ad can show between levels, at most every few levels, and you can watch an optional video for coins or a free hint.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Every level and the dictionary are on your phone, so it plays on a plane or the subway. Ads and videos need a connection.
Does it collect my data?
There's no account and no sign-in. Your progress stays on your phone. Google's ad service uses your device's advertising ID; the privacy policy explains what that means and how to opt out.
Is it too easy?
It starts with three letters so you learn the swipe, then grows to seven-letter wheels with longer words and bigger crosswords. The daily wheel always has seven letters.
